
Concrete blocks are often used in constructing a wide range of structures from homes to commercial properties and outdoor structures. Commonly rectangular, concrete blocks are manufactured as a solid block of concrete or with hollow chambers. Although concrete blocks are strong and durable, cracks sometimes develop.



Concrete block walls, in particular, can form cracks for a number of reasons. Before you reach for the phone, take your time and inspect the crack you’ve spotted. Some cracks are just annoyances, while others are symptoms of a larger problem and with a little bit of know-how, you can tell the difference.

The mix adheres tenaciously to concrete. The cured repair is much stronger than the concrete itself. Applications for the ElastiPoxy-sand mix: Surface cracks, holes, or defects in poured concrete walls, honeycombed concrete, leaking form ties. Cracks in concrete block walls or missing mortar.

We attached the form to the damaged end of the wall using a bunch of clamps: You can see how much of a void there was between the form and the blocks.
