It no longer can be found in Searing Gorge or the Burning Steppes.

This guide shows you one or more of the best and most efficient routes to farm Dunkeleisenerz and is exactly what you need if you want to farm this ore yourself instead of spending your gold on it.. You need Mining 1 to gather this ore and Skill 230 to melt it. On top of that, you have to finish a quest in the Blackrock Depth to learn it.
